ABOUT US

We are a diverse team of Florida Democrats who share one mission: to bring fresh energy and proven strategies to the Democratic National Committee on behalf of our state. Our slate draws upon years of combined experience in grassroots organizing, local party leadership, and advocacy work for Floridians.

Together, we’ve seen firsthand how investing in local communities can spark real change at every level. By running as a united group for the DNC, we aim to:

  • Strengthen County DECs and Grassroots Efforts – We will advocate for more robust training, resources, and funding to empower organizers, leaders, and candidates in every county.

  • Champion Diversity and Inclusion – We believe the Democratic Party thrives by embracing every perspective—from seasoned leaders with deep institutional knowledge to new voices representing our state’s evolving communities. Our goal is to uplift underrepresented voices, broaden our coalition, and ensure our Party truly reflects the mosaic of Florida and our country.

  • Enhance Voter Engagement and Turnout – We know that winning elections begins with activating and inspiring our base, both in battleground regions and historically underserved areas.

  • Bring More National Support to Florida – By leveraging our representation on the DNC, we plan to direct greater attention, funding, and strategic guidance to Florida’s Democratic campaigns.

Our goal is simple: we want to see Democrats prevail in every corner of our state, and we’re ready to work tirelessly with local and national partners to make that happen. Election Details

  • The Florida Democratic Party will hold its Organizational Meeting on January 25th at Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace. The meeting begins at 9:00am. Please plan to arrive early or the night before so you can with fellow SEC members before the vote.

  • Voting is open to current members of the State Executive Committee. If you’re unsure about your voting status, please reach out to us or review the FDP bylaws for more information.

  • If you’re an SEC member who cannot attend in person, you may choose someone to hold your proxy in accordance with FDP rules. Please ensure your proxy holder is a qualified Democrat and that you’ve followed the required proxy submission steps.

  • We look forward to your support when our slate is presented for the DNC member positions. Feel free to contact us ahead of the meeting if you have any questions or would like more details on our platform.
