Grace Carrington

Broward County

Grace Carrington is a dedicated advocate for South Florida seniors and a leader in Medicare home care. Originally from Harlem. She developed a passion for civic engagement while interning with Hon. Charlie Rangel. After moving to Coral Springs in the early 2000s. Grace immersed herself in the community, joining the Martin Luther King Jr. Committee to support scholarships for financially needy children and quickly became the fundraising chair. She is active in the NAACP and her beloved Sorority as a proud member of the Divine 9.

Grace’s political journey began as a precinct committeewoman, later organizing for President Obama’s 2012 campaign. She joined the Coral Springs Parkland Democratic Club in 2011 and became its President in 2013. Today, she serves as State Committeewoman for the Broward County Democratic Executive Committee, Ways and Means Chair and Senior Advisor for the Broward Democratic Black Caucus, Southern Regional Director of the DNC  Black Caucus and is in her second term on the Democratic National Committee. She is also a member of the National Finance Committee South East Region. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to advancing equity and opportunity through public service.
