Originally a Navy brat and professionally a health & fitness educator, Terrie Rizzo is running for re-election to the DNC to continue advancing Florida’s interests and strengthening the party at every level. She brings extensive leadership experience, having served as Florida Democratic Party Chair (2017–2020), an elected DNC member since 2016, a Delegate to four National Conventions, and on the DNC National Finance Committee since 2020. She also led the Palm Beach County Democratic Party (2012–2022) and served as “Chair of Chairs” for the Florida Democratic County Chairs Association (2016–2017).

Throughout her tenure, Terrie has never missed a DNC or FDP State Executive Committee meeting, reflecting her dedication to hands-on involvement. She is a founding member of the DNC Disability Caucus and is active in the Women’s, Senior, Labor, and Veterans Caucuses, among others. In addition, Terrie is known as a prolific fundraiser and has significantly contributed to the party’s fundraising efforts—both for the FDP (on the Budget & Finance Committee and as Chair of the FDP Trustees Program) and for the DNC as a member of the National Finance Committee. She is especially proud of collaborating with Democrats Abroad to boost voter turnout among Americans overseas. With a deep network at local, state, and national levels, Terrie is committed to increasing party visibility, enhancing messaging, and helping elect Democrats in Florida and across the country.
